BTS has achieved significant success on both domestic and international charts with their fifth studio album, 'Arirang', capturing major weekly chart positions.

Data from the album sales tracking platform, Hanteo Chart, dated March 30, indicates that 'Arirang' led the weekly world and album charts for the period of March 23-29. Notably, it clinched the top spot by the third week of March, merely three days post its March 20 release, maintaining this position for a consecutive two-week duration.

A report by the American music industry publication Billboard, released on March 30, reveals 'Arirang's' ascent to the foremost position on the Billboard 200 chart dated April 4. The album debuted with 641,000 album units, the highest weekly figure for a group album since unit tracking commenced in December 2014. Significantly, 532,000 of these were from pure album sales, encompassing both physical and digital formats, setting a decade-long record for group album sales.

BTS has further reinforced its dominance across global music charts. During the Spotify tracking period from March 20-26, BTS led the 'Weekly Top Albums', 'Weekly Top Songs', and 'Weekly Top Artists' charts. The album's lead single, 'SWIM', notably clinched the top position on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart, while all 14 album tracks were placed within the top 30.

For 'SWIM', the top spot on Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' and Apple Music's 'Top 100 Global' was sustained for 9 and 7 consecutive days, respectively (from March 20-28 and March 23-29). Furthermore, every track from the album was featured in the latest chart listings for these platforms. The album's enduring popularity, even ten days post-release, underscores the robust support from the global music community.

In the interim, BTS is scheduled for the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'' at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on April 9, 11, and 12. Their tour itinerary extends to stadium performances in South America, including Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, in October. Remarkably, all 46 performances, encompassing those in Goyang, North America, Europe, and Tokyo, Japan, have achieved early sell-out status, reflecting their exceptional ticket-selling prowess.
